Hollywood united Joins NPSL

Los Angeles, CA – Hollywood United Football Club is pleased to announce that its’ men’s professional soccer team, the Hollywood United Hitmen, will compete in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) in 2011. Hollywood’s general manager, Jason Mathot, said “The move into the NPSL is an exciting step for us. The level of competition in the NPSL Western Conference is extremely high, as evidenced by the last couple of years, when PDL teams from the West have been defeated by their NPSL counterparts in US Open Cup play – Ventura County Fusion lost to the Arizona Sahuaros in 2010, Orange County Blue Star lost to Sonoma County Sol in 2009, and the BYU Cougars and the Ogden Outlaws lost to Arizona and Sonoma, respectively, in 2006.”
